Here We Go Again! AIG Bonuses

Here we go again. AIG is poised to hand out millions of tax dollars in the form of bonuses to top level execs. There is literally no shame anymore. The government and big corporations continue to bend the taxpayer over and shove a huge one in our ass daily, and smile the whole time. "Hope", "Change", Give me a fucking break.

This is "Change"??

Up Yours Obama!

Fuck Obama...but...how is a business to become profitable again, and stay that way, if they can't compensate the competent employees?

All the crooks at AIG are long gone.

Good question Ride Fast. I would ask this: how do Japanese companies remain in the black with CEOs that typically earn a tenth of their American counterparts?

Clearly a company can prosper without CEO's making 10,000 times more than the average employee. No argument there.

What if someone is working solely for the bonus though? Some AIG executives (last bonus time around) were working for $1 a year with a big bonus if they accomplished whatever they were suppose to do.

Full disclosure: I'm sitting on a pile of AIG stock doing it's submarine impression, but I don't think that is influencing my opinion.

Ah. In light of that disclosure, I wish you luck! I don't think AIG is going away, so I would think "buy buy buy" would be the smart money ;-)
